it's not animation... i think. cuz ive seen a few vids like this that are made without animation.

If I'm not mistaken it's called "stop animation" that's where they shoot, stop, move arm, stop, move leg, shoot, stop, move other leg, shoot,stop, move head, shoot, stop..etc..etc..etc..a one minuet video clip can take a couple hours to do..depending on how fine/smooth you want the picture to be..

they do that stuff only with a camera right? and they move the pieces with hand.

yup..I think there was a kids show a long time ago called "Gumby"...that used stop animation..
