Website troubles.

I just became a mod for this site and i have no idea how to access the editing features. This isn't like my site, if it was then I know how to edit my own site. If anyone knows please tell me. I'm just getting used to this and a little help wouldn't kill you. Check out my site and see what I have done. www.scgamers.freeforums.org

This site may look like my site sooner or later as soon as I access the editing features. Heads up to any admin, that message was for you. Major editing may be on its way, maybe, just maybe but final decisions go to the admin. All thanks go to Gilgamesh and Daddy for making this possible.

i think ur better off asking daddy, but for regular admins theres a link at the very bottom of the page that says administration panel. i think moderators should have that too.

also dont go right into changing things. first of all i think its unnecessary and it should be done if theres a problem like one we had a while ago with random popup images we couldnt get off the webpage. secondly others might like this layout. and yeah. i guess i fall into both categories. theres no need to change it right now and maybe some others like this layout. thats why i was hesitant in game when discussing this with u...

edit: referring to layout things that u said, like making it look like urs. thats entirely different. simple things like the power poster (?) are harmless.. unless someone else is a power poster hater.

Nope, I don't see anything like that. Plus I didn't say I was gonna change anything and plz don't change your mind about this, I'm sorry, I probably got carried away. Other than that, I probably can only edit posts or something.

Alright gilga, I'll consult with daddy about this. Thank you for the position and I'll try my best to help you out.

I think the green makes you an admin, but mods have the blue names. Only mods can edit the site.

hey. in case you still haven't figured out or haven been told of, the mod controls are located at the lower right hand corner of the forum template, right under the forum jump section (the drop down menu)

Ok, I knew that part but I don't see the admin panel, or am I not supposed to see it yet. IDK why Gilga's so worried, I can't even access the site's control panel. Anyways, I'll just stick to forum management I guess, but I don't wanna mess around with other people's posts that much, because I might get into trouble. Try to make your topics match and don't get too off or I'll notify an admin for appropriate action.

btw, i dont think we are supposed to have an access to the control panel, since there you can totally do anything to a forum...and we are just a lil bit short of being moderators
one question though, i dont see an option to sticky a thread. is this action reserved for the admins/moderators?

Hey Pwn..I'm giving you Mod controls for now, thats why you can't get to admin panel...I just want to see how you do things for a while.. when we feel your ready you'll get it. I also want to wait till you have atleast 30 days in clan before doing anything else. Thanks for your help with the forum!

Hey Ban..Yes..I made it so you can see that Panel..It has all the you'll need to help moderate this board. If you need to use the moderator tools you can, please all we ask is to just use them wisely. We selected you as a mod and trust your judgement and intergrity. As for the sticky thing..you should be able to do stickys but not "global announcements"..I'll check on it and see whats up..thanks for the heads up on it..sorry for the problems as I'm still adjusting the permissions abit..

You wouldn't say eafd, at least we don't spam a lot, we just wanna be heard you know. Plus about those usergroups, you can apply, but an admin has to accept it.
