lol theres literally a .000001% chance that a meteor (which is what everyone thinks will crash into the earth and destroy humanity) will hit the necessary point in the earth's gravitational field and fall to earth. otherwise its gonna pass us. then again theres those other things that people are afraid of, like the melting of the ice caps freezing the water channels and then the world plunges into another ice age. schtuff like that/

it wont happen! only the uneducated and senseless masses believe in this! here is a little perspective into this issue:
the reason why people believe that earth will cease to exist, whether by human or natural means, is due to the existence of the Mayan calendar. apparently the calendar that was made by the ancient culture only went up to the year 2012. so automatically the retards out there assume that Mayans predicted an end of the earth and did not make more days after 2012 as the reason.
however, had anyone considered that they got lazy? i mean how long into the future can you possibly make the calendar. you had to stop somewhere! which is what i believe the Mayans did. they stopped at 2012! not by reason but simply by choice!

so the answer is no never!

the only reason people think its plausible is because of the other forces that happen on that date. the aligning of the milky way and our solar system is supposed to be on that date. so people think that could mess up our planet's magnetic field or something.

but yeah. they probably just ran out of room on that ginormous circle they had.
