GUYS I NEED HELP!!!

Hey guys so recently i got a new laptop and i've been playing CA on it but i get this problem that whenever i go into gas my screen like totally Blacks out and it's annoying as hell when i play against people with like gas launchers. Can someone PLEASE give me a solution??? THANK YOUUU

What type of graphics card do you have?

Open the start menu and run the Device Manager, and tell us what graphics card you have.

I'm guessing it's maybe one of two brands..

Nvidia or ATI

If it is, you can go the either website, depending on which brand you have and then look for the appropriate make/model and OS for your card. If you can tell us what type Video you have we can point you in the right direction better tho.

Just select a game and then click the "Can U run it" button, you might have to load the small activeX program that popsup, but after that it'll give you your specs and it should list what your video card is..there's a TON of other very useful information there too. The nice thing about this site is you can check to see if your system can run a game and they have alot of games to check against and they add more every so often.

It's prolly an integrated Intel card hehehehe

I'm using the Dell Xps 15 (L502x) with the Nvidia GT 525M graphics card. So waht do i do after i download it?

Just install it

Download it and run it.

It'll ask you to restart once or twice...but it should be fine.

Weird cause normally they'd give you discs for updating drivers and all that.
Or maybe that's just cause I get individual parts so i get the discs for each part :p

The discs are for installing the original version of the driver, the web site is for the latest version.

You just need the graphics driver, it's under video > nvidia, the first one is the right one

K it turns out i also have the intel HD graphics family and the nvidia GT 525M and i tried updating my nvidia and even after doing so it doesn't work...? suggestions?

You have switchable graphics. Switch to the Nvidia card and try CA again. If it still doesn't work, then you'll have to enable software T&L, which is quite complex.
