awesome, i have both bf2 and bf bad company 2, in both my ingame name is kingdaka47, and i usually play rush only on the habit for hookers server.

I uhh, am halfway through the single player...and that's it.

dont even bother with the single player, it blows. the multi is way better

i played it a couple times, but like french said, the singleplayer sucks. and i dont understand the multiplayer server browsing too well so i just stopped.

We should get you familiar with the multiplayer portion then!! What part are you having problem with, maybe we can do a tutorial with fraps?

well for one, when i click play, it brings me to a room with no one in it; which was ok, for a bit, so i could try out the controls and everything, but when that happened multiple times, it got annoying. So then i did the server browser thing, and nothing came up. the list was empty. so me give up

Gilga, you have to change the settings when you're finding a room. There are options that say that the server has to be populated and such, and you check the boxes to get what you want. Ie. i usually check the populated, rush only, and pb enabled servers. So when i search it only pulss up servers with those specifications

Yup..had the same problem here..you would think it would have thrown you into a random "populated" game, but then I figured it must be looking at some settings somewhere that I must have not yet configured and that's what it was..

yea, you shouldnt really use the play now option cause it always gives unpopulated servers. I would suggest going to the habit 4 hookers server, it doesnt lagg and it usually has decent people playing so its not a complete rape fest.

i gots it..but does it play through steam?? mines just launch normally i dont use steam for it?

BF2 will need some serious play time to get mah skillz up to par there..LOL..fak i feel like a noob all over again.. haha!

I can help you connect it with Steam. It won't be the same as actually buying it on Steam, but it'll be very similar.

Just remember the secret to playing this game is to tap fire every single gun. Except in close quarters. Cause the recoil on the guns is quite high. To get you started with some good guns, the aek, xm8, and m416 are good for the assault. With the medic, and mg is good, but i like the pkm the best. For sniping the gol sniper magnum is the best cause it doesnt sway. Lastly engi, the ump45 is by far the best, and other good ones are the xm8 compact, uzi, and aks74u. For the medic and engi, the scopes are useless but the assault i like the red dot on the m416 and on the xm8 the 4x scope. Always put magnum ammo on, and if youre not using a scope use the extra ammo( especially with the engi cause you go through ammo fast). On the sniper the 12x scope helps alot.

When playing you shouldnt just rush like crazy, always make sure you're hiding behind a rock or something so you can peek out at the enemy
