That's okay. After spending like 2 hours screwing with VB I got it installed and everything and I try to load it and it won't run. It says like something about Caps error.

Don't know what that is. F*ck.

Any suggestions about my partitioning problem because right now I'm going to delete VB and all that and try partitioning again. Why doesn't this want to work damit..

try deleting the boot camp partition in disk utility and enlarging your mac partition to take up 100% of the space.

then use the boot camp thing again

OR you could use your mac osx install disk and boot up with that. when it first starts up, DON'T INSTALL OVER YOUR CURRENT OS. click on the top menu bar and one of the utilities should be disk utility. there you can enlarge the partitions without worrying about moving files in use

I already made it one single disk like Thad the first thing you do or it won't let you repartition cause you can't have more than 2.

Oh.

Then try the thing where you partition when booted into the install disk.

If you can't get bootcamp to make it work, you can always install rEFIt to multi-boot.

I use rEFIt to triple boot my imac, all you have to do is set a partiton and stick the disk in. when the boot menu comes up, select the disk and then install onto the partition you want to install to. You can install any number of OS without needing to ever use the bootcamp assistant

I've been reading stuff online and some things suggest that I might not have enough continuous space on the hard drive? They suggest iDefrag but I'm not paying fricken money it's bs. But what I'm reading is suggesting that my hard drive is f*cked up and I need to back everything up and reinstall it all cause like the files are all spread out on my drive and theres not enough contiguous space? Who knows.

So I'm messing around with deleteing some files and maybe I can free up some good space. See what happens.

you can always get idefrag by other means >_>

here, i found this on the codez4mac.com forums

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2OCBNJZF

iDefrag version 2.02

password for archive is "idstw" no quotes

FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS IN THE READ ME, OR ELSE.

it'll probably tell you to block the app with little snitch. instead of doing that, just cut your internet while you're using idefrag. hopefully you'll only need to use it once, so the cut won't be too much trouble.

edit: WOW. this forum changes links to a link shortener that puts ads in.

Defraggler and CCLeaner helped me a lot memory wise

but these helped me lag wise.

also gamebooster

and try going control pannel-System-Advanced System Settings-Go to Advanced Tab and Click Settings where it says Performance. Uncheck all the boxes. Ur desktop may seeming ugly, but it helps a bit with lag. I jus do this when i play CA or sumting.

Also try looking up Nagle Algorithm disable on utube. helps with scoping, etc.

If u got nothing else, try System Restore? Other than this i dunno much about computers lol srry Razz

I'M BACK B!TCHES

Fixed it. Deleted about 35 gigs worth of crap from my Mac HD in hopes of freeing up contiguous space in which the boot camp could make. Then restarted my computer and tried boot camp again. Worked. Very Happy

Should be on tomorrow evening maybe, hoping for like 10000 fps and no lag cause I'm going to go all out on this fresh start.

Thanks for the help though guys!
