Thank you snsdyoona and Welcome to Pandemonium..what you have just showed me is a perfect solution for helping us with our new recruits..

I will create a new section called Clan Applications...and from now on if ANYONE wants to apply for our clan they will also have to apply here at the website, no IF, ANDS or BUTTS!! and from this website section is were we will setup tryouts and gather other informations from the new members..and if the new member does well or is accepted, then post a reply for that clansmen and say that you will "sponsor" that clansmen and we can put them on a "probationary" period of say 5 or 10 days? If any admins feel with in that probationary period that something is wrong the new member will get automatically booted? No questions..

daddy, there would have to be some kind of notice for people who first come here. or else there's the possibility of them just making a whole new topic asking to join. i also dont like the "no ifs, ands, or butts" haha "butts". (supposed to be "buts" xP) well what snsdyoona did was just tell us his stats. this requires us to have the impression that hes good because hes got a nice kdr. (just saying ;p) Frankly he could be a sniper or a ladder glitcher and have those stats. Thats the point of tryouts.

i think that this is maybe a little too difficult and tedious, mostly because hardly anyone from the clan even signs up here. they wont get the message and will either just cancel their application or just stay there. Also because i can just, u know, friend them right there and go from there.

All in all it seems like a good idea, it just doesnt work along with the "human factor" in there.

It's too troublesome for those who'd rather not alt tab and open up a web browser to get here even though it really doesn't take up much of their time. They'd rather do it in game and apply there.

Umm..ok what if we have a section where if any admins wants to try someone out or accepts a new member that they (admin) add it to the section?

I'm just thinking that we need to get some kind of feed back or something of what admins recruiting who and if it seems like an admin is getting to many "questionable" players and are getting us in trouble then we can demote that admin for a while? If anything maybe atleast just have the Admin who accepted the new member post something to let us know, I think it would be a courtesy to the clan..just something like..

I also was thinking that at a minimum, all the Admin of this clan "should" be able to IM, Email or some how be able to communicate with each other at any given time??

Also..Do you want me to post something on the front page to remind all admins that before you accept a new member a tryout from an admin is required? (although, they could say they did and never do it, umm maybe have a different admin do the tryouts? just thinking out loud)

Sorry Daddy I didn't mean to sound like that was a bad idea. I was being sarcastic. Applying that way is the best, that way we can keep track of people who join the clan. TranBoy was new I'm sure cause I haven't seen him until yesterday. I've been seeing all these new people but never on the site. At the very least, any admin who accepts a clan member must have them register on here with an email or anything we use that we can contact them in case anything ever happens.

That just saddens me how our CBL is dirty. Anyways hopefully it will go away really soon!

well u would also need to figure out their activity. someone who just plays for fun might be like, " wtf is this? i just wanna play" for those people.. idk?

i agree that the admins that accept new members should announce they did in case someone else who has played them knows that they have seen them hacking or something and they can also check them out. I think the model u gave was great for what they would have to say/do. give them a tryout and checked out their status. some admins might not be doing that.. which, i think, should result in a demotion if it continues.

But see, here's the thing. Clans aren't always fun and games unfortunately =.= If you wanna play for fun, don't join one. Simple as that. If they wanna join, they'd do this.

yes, thats true. i recall asking people if they want to join and they say that they just play for fun. so yeah i guess that cancels itself out. but what about the other gajillion people in the clan that arent always on? do they play just for fun or are they inactive?

That's where this whole forums thing comes in. We need to make sure we don't get more of those. Those are lost causes cause we really don't know how to contact them. Kick them or don't, it's really you admins and rawr's decision o_O And I see what you're saying though. Since they aren't on anymore they probably were just playing for fun and went inactive o_O
