Need a good speaker

i need speakers. Right now i am using my 24 inch tv as a computer screen. with hdmi so it has sounds. I was wonder what type of speakers is good out there.

Both my sons has Logitech speakers..one has the z5500 and the other the z2300...they're both THX cert and sounds amazing...here's one that in your range and is THX cert..I really like the Logitech brand..

yeah i wanted the z5500 but it was too much. Then again i want an 5.1 speaker

I have an Altec Lansing, 2.1. Loved it.
Then again o_o I've never used 5.1, because my room doesn't allow it...

well ipod headphone works fine but if i wear them too long my ear start to hurt.
Plus wearing headphone get in my way sometimes.

if you're looking for some nice but cheap headphones, i have MEElectronic's M6 headphones.
they go for 20 bucks on amazon, down from fifty.
although the packaging looks like shit, the headphones themselves sound great and are really high quality, check out some of the reviews.
oh, and it's in-ear.
