gil, whatever you are thinking of is pure logic and nothing more. math has logic, hence something like this would apply to it.
im might be confused, but perhaps you mean to say like that there is a logic problem or philosophical statement that does not follow this correlation.

yeah.. the example i saw used an explanation and no variables. it was meant as a joke and it wasnt until later that i was informed of the equation.. >.< i guess an example could be..

a pencil [a] is yellow [b], yellow [b] is a color [c], but a pencil is not a color. [a =/= c] iunno.

thats saying a=b, b=c, so a=c. im trying to find examples that are [a=b, b=c, but a=/=c]. but also trying to figure out if such an algorithm exists.
