In-Game Video Capturing?
i was wondering what fraps setting do you guys use?
i tried half size and the videos turn out trash, like the players' names are illegible. so unless its full the video is pretty much useless fro me.
also, what program do you use to convert/upload files to youtube or other video hosting websites?
from my experience, using windows live movie maker, it further cripples the quality of the video and once again makes it useless.
so just post some of your preferences and recommendations please!

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
banhamma, if u want good quality youtube vids then u need to turn ur fraps settings up, which will cause even more lag. full screen causes more lag than halfscreen, thats cuz halfscreen is pretty much shit. when using an editing program like windows movie maker, make sure to publish the video in 1080p for full hd, or 720p.

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
whenever ive tried publishing a vid in wmm i can never upload something to youtube. that makes this video capture thing with nexon easier? idk i havent tried it yet. but the settings suck. u only get like two or three and the maximum quality is bs. set to capture 30 fps.. -.-

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
what resolution do you use in-game? that's the most important. if you use a shitty resolution in-game, then halving that will look extra-shitty

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
Well if you use WMM then it just takes a long time to get the thing uploaded and to get the quality right. I've used half size for Fraps and it doesn't turn out that way for me so I dunno what's going on with you o_O
You could just use that one they have in game..I mean they even have a youtube uploader thingy on there too

if u use half size, ur vid will come out smaller than it appears. ull have black bars on the sides of the screen and itll look gay.

Re: In-game Video Capturing
I thought they put a new recording feature in combat arms that allows you to record and upload straight from the game. Doesn't that work out too good?

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
for recording, unless its full size it comes out shiet!
also, i use the highest in game settings (1900x1080) with everything on max! (no lag whatsoever <3 my machine)
however, i think i discovered a portion of the problem. when using windows live movie maker to upload, it diminishes the quality!
here are some samples of the converted and upload video, after it was converted from avi (the fraps format) to wmv (movie maker format after conversion):
uploaded from windows movie maker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnxTfwJfQcs
uploaded directly to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhVSNNkFx14
(here is one uploaded from the avi file, directly to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDQDTOt0Ark
as you can tell almost not difference between the previous vid. its slightly better in quality, but the size and the upload time is tremendous!)
you can tell the difference. the one directly uploaded is by far clearer. keep in mind that the original file uploaded by both methods was the same (2.something MB).
now here is a screenshot of the WMV file that was used for uploading, but is kept on my PC:
as you can tell its clear, unlike the youtube video. i understand that uploading something, diminishes its quality, but is there any other video hosting service that cripples your video less?

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
did you use full screen? the wmv video, when played in the player maximized still has to be shrunken a little to fit the controls. also, there will be defects when using compressed video. also, your video is fine as it is. you can see all the names.

Re: In-Game Video Capturing?
yes, but which one of the three is best in quality? or are all of them close enough to be considered the same?
