Omg i have the most horrible lag ever... seriously
i have like 30-0 fps wtf up with this
it pisses me the hell off..
any ideas on how to make me lag less and have a decent fps in game??

1) defrag your comp

2) get a better graphics card, unless you're using a laptop.

3) actually, get a better comp lol

4) mess around with settings. turn all graphic eye candy off like flare, bloom, and view empty gun shells, etc.

turn your color settings down and AA off.

also try turning your resolution down

^ that works on most computers, but mine is weird o_O, because no matter what settings i choose i still get around 70-80 FPS, whether all the way down or all the way up lol

usually it happens when hackers are in the game, and u look in their direction, specifically aimbotters.

aimbot changes your characters coding, causing ur gun to look directly at opponents faces and shoot without spread / recoil..., and when ur character's coding is fk'd it doesn't render properly with the server. And when ur character doesn't render properly with the server, it is very easy to detect, which is why aimbotters are actually very uncommon.

however, opk can be used like an aimbot, just activate it against the opponent u can see. opk doesn't alter any character coding, thus doesn't lag servers, and thus is hard to catch via the method nexon uses to catch hackers =/.. so aimbotters u don't lag against are probably actually opker's controlling their hack...

so... if you ever look at somebody and lag, turn away looking into a wall and ur fps sky rockets 70+, look at him and it drops down to 20 again, he probably has an aimbot or some terrible hack someone tried to create.

kinda ranted, but the point is it may not be your computers fault for the lag, it could just be a hacker -.- even when i play CA on my beastly computer i drop down to less than 20 fps looking at aimbotters / hackers with bad hacks.

You can try taking textures out. The graphics and all that. Makes lag decrease A LOT. You can also make the program run High Priority.
When you are about to click game start on the direct, open task manager, go to process, find combat arms, right click, put mouse over priority, and then click high priority. Then you can start game from Direct.

This is how I start my combat arms. Also with no textures its much easir to spot your opponent. Unless you play in grassy areas.

I don't think taking out textures is bad. You are just taking out the colors... And how will they find out?

idk but it's against the tos and i suppose they might implement some sort of checker to verify the size of the files...

Nothing would happen to you if you do that. Really.

But if you're the type who wants to be extra safe, don't do it then. Nexon can't really check your files like that

Eh, I prefer it with all the textures.

Once i took the body textures out to be more pro in brushwood.
It's no fun without the textures.

Of course, I mean who wouldn't? But people are lagging thus this topic hence the reason for taking out texture
