Chess goes by the ranking system called the Elo Rating System which is also used in LoL. HUEHUE

lmfao yeah it's different in chess because you start out knowing very little and stuff so yeah. like if you were to give elo to LoL players from level 1, it'd be different and stuff. But yeah :3

Players from LoL all start at different skill lvls from 1200 elo. You have to be lvl 30 to start playing ranked games. So basically, they all just jump into ranked games right after they become lvl 30's. Some could suck or be really good. Below 1200 is the worst part of elo hell. So hard to get out because you just have people that leave the games, rage, or they're just bad. It's just an endless amount chaos. If you get lucky,get matched with the good players, and go above 1400, then it's gg for you.

Would you consider chess having elo hell?

uhm not really cause if you're at the same elo level, a low elo level, you guys would play like evenly and everything for the most part so it's more fun than having someone dominate you. though if they keep track of your elo like in chess and you're a good player who just lost to lots of good players and got like below 1k elo somehow, you'd just dominate all the low elo players
