Re: Hurricane Irene
Lul. We got 2+ weeks off of school when Ike hit Houston. It sucked because it's like 95+ degrees here all the time and there was no AC.
Side question: What do you think is room temperature? I was shocked when I found out the recommended room temperature was 70 degrees F. I'm comfortable at 85F....

Re: Hurricane Irene
Well, I don't really care much about the recommended room temperature than the right temperature for myself. With that said, I prefer around 60-70F. Any higher and I need a fan/air conditioner. You also have to take into account the humidity. Although I doubt it's the case here, you might prefer 85F while I prefer lower just cause of where we live and it might be more humid here (Chicago, Windy City, hah!) Just kidding though, I just can't stand the heat at all. Not sure how you do it -_-, I mean 85 I'd definitely need the a/c on.

Re: Hurricane Irene
Humidity's around 70% indoors, 85% outdoors. And this is with months of drought...
