game quitting

Strangest thing is happening to me...

The game is selt-terminating as soon as it logs me in. It gets to the screen with the eye-patch terrorist dude, then it just shuts down.

Any ideas as to why this is? No error messages, just... exits.

Try reinstalling?

IDK, the latest patch broke quite a few peoples' CA clients. The same thing happened to me, but it went away by itself o.o

Could be a problem with your antivirus or firewall.

I don't have an active fire-wall, and I disable anti-virus before loading any game, so shouldn't be either of those.

if it persists after a reboot, then I will reinstall.. just a pain in the ****.

Hold up. You can try to reupdate the game without reinstalling. Lemme find the thread...

Download these four files and paste them into your CA/Game folder. Then run the game and it should patch.
