The mouth is just part of multiple systems.. but anyway i am pretty certain if i deleted everything from the combat arms file but the file itself it'd still be called combat arms.. it wouldnt work at all.. but it'd still be called combat arms. It's like if someone got their entire body cut off, you'd see their head and know who it was but they aren't of much use.... unless your into necrophilia..

@gilga, what i'm trying to get at is that the ENTIRE mouth is part of the digestive system. the mouth is also an ENTIRE part of the respiratory system

theres actually a lot of body parts that are used for different things. from what ur saying the mouth cant be used for breathing... k. guess it cant be used for taste either. k. the ear also has different functions. not only is it used for hearing but its used for equilibrium too. i forget what part but i believe thats why ur ears "pop" and if u go too far down under water they start hurting. pressure stuff.

no. it's part of the digestive system.

you're saying that the mouth is separated into parts that do breathing, parts that do digesting, and that's not true. the entire mouth handles both breathing AND digesting.

there are different parts of the mouth that are for the digestive system and likewise to the respiration system. so those parts that are a part of the digestive system are not parts of the respiration system (at least not all of them) and thus the mouth is partial to both systems.

this debate is so minor, i have no idea why we're debating

anyhow, does the air not pass though your mouth, touching all parts of it?

thats like saying food that accidentally goes down ur trachea automatically makes it a part of ur digestive system.

see, food that goes down accidentally does not happen on a regular basis. however, air that travels though your mouth happens every time you breath (not counting the nose ...)

the point of it was that they have no function to the other system. teeth dont help with air and ur windpipe doesnt help with food. except chuck norris's windpipe.
