I need help with my Flash Drive

So my flash drive went crazy and I had to reformat it cause iuno what happened but my computer told me I should reformat it. So I did, and while doing that it started popping up an error saying that "the disc is write protected". So of course I googled for some solutions...ranged from pushing that switch on the side to some programs that didn't work cause they couldn't get past the write protection. How do I fix this so I can use my flash drive again?

If your flash drive has the write protection switch, make sure it is in the "write" or "open" position. Here's one that you can see if it helps..

My flash drive looks like that so it doesn't really have anything to switch. This stupid flash drive :/ Btw Daddy why aren't you on xfire anymore

Whenever I reboot my system I have to manually startup xfire and these past couple months i've been busy with christmas and stuff, that I just keep pfrgetting to run it..haha..I'll run it more now..since someone misses me..
